Al Ahly defeat El Gouna 2-0 in the Egyptian league

CAIRO, 25 July 2022: Al-Ahly team returned to the path of victories after defeating El-Gouna 2-0 in the match that brought them together on Sunday evening, at Al-Ahly WE Al-Salam Stadium in 26th round of the Egyptian League competition.

Rami Rabia and Ali Maaloul scored Al-Ahly’s goals against El-Gouna, and with this result, Al-Ahly reached 51 points in third place, while El-Gouna’s balance stopped at 26 points in thirteenth place.

The formation of Al-Ahly against El-Gouna was as follows, Mohamed El-Shennawy in goalkeeping, Yasser Ibrahim, Ali Maaloul, Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, Karim Fouad, Ramy Rabia, Hamdi Fathi, Afsha and Amr Al-Sulayya in the middle, and Ahmed Abdel-Qader and Hossam Hassan in the attack.

While El-Gouna’s formation came as follows, Imad El-Sayed in goalkeeping, Mohamed Abdel-Gawad, Mohamed Naguib, Mahmoud El-Jazzar and Amr Saadawi in defense, Daniel Adeh, Saif El-Agouz, Islam Mohareb and Mahmoud Shabrawi in the middle, and Karim Tariq and Khaled Qamar in the attack.

This is the second victory for Al Ahly’s new coach, Ricardo Soares, in the Egyptian league.
