“There is a mutual respect between Meteeb and Ahly SC fans”: Nader Shawky

CAIRO – 14 July 2017: Nader Shawky, Emad Meteeb's agent, denies the rumor that says the Ahly SC striker for Egypt's national team will announce retirement by the end of this season 2016/17.

“Emad Meteeb is one of Ahly SC captains, and he will stay in his childhood club until the end of his new contract” Nader Shawky told Egypt Today.

Ahly SC announced on May 5 the signing of a new one year deal with both Hossam Ghaly and Meteeb, according Ahly SC’s official website.

“No need to talk about Meteeb’s new step now, Such great player always respect his contracts and deals” Shawky added.

“There is a mutual respect between Meteeb and Ahly SC fans, and also between him and all his teammates, and we are all happy for him to score. We always trust him,” his agent said.

Meteeb made 10 appearances with Ahly SC in 2016/17 season, scoring five goals in all competitions according to TransferMarkt.
