CAF announced the Best formation of the African Nations in its 33rd edition, which was held in Cameroon
The Senegalese team won the championship title for the first time in its history after defeating Egypt in the final 4-2 on penalties.
Cameroon finished third in the tournament after beating Burkina Faso 3-1 on penalties after a 3-3 draw in the original time.
Three players from the Egyptian national team were in the starting lineup, Mohamed Salah, Mohamed Abdel Moneim and Mohamed Elneny.
The formation witnessed the presence of Ibrahim Blati Toure, the new Pyramids player.
The duo, Ahmed Fattouh and Mahmoud Hamdi Al-Wansh, were present in the substitutions formation.

Defensive line: Salio Cisse (Senegal) - Edmond Tapsoba (Burkina Faso) - Mohamed Abdel Moneim (Egypt) - Achraf Hakimi (Morocco).

Vincent Abu Bakr scored 8 goals in the tournament, becoming the most player to score a number of goals since Ndaye Malumba in 1974, to be crowned the tournament's top scorer.
Sadio Mane won the award for the best player in the tournament.
Edward Mendy won the award for best goalkeeper in the competition.
