CAIRO, 31 January 2022: Al-Ahly club regained Egyptian national team' defender Mohamed Abdel Moneim again after cutting off his loan with Future FC.
Abdel Moneim moved on loan from Al-Ahly to Future for one season.
Abdel Moneim appeared at a distinguished level with the Egyptian national team in the AFCON after his participation in all the Pharaohs matches during the tournament, 3 of them as a starter and 2 as a substitute.
Future FC said in its official statement: “Within the framework of good relations with Al-Ahly Club, the Board of Directors of Future FC agreed to end the loan of Mohamed Abdel Moneim, the team’s defender, and his return to the ranks of Al-Ahly, as a national duty to support their squad before the scheduled Club World Cup competitions.
He added, "In the same context, the Al-Ahly club's board of directors agreed to extend the loan of Karim Nedved for another season, and to loan Abdel Rahman Ashraf "Mano" to Future FC until the end of the season."
Al-Ahly is preparing to play the FIFA Club World Cup next February 5 against Mexican club, Monterrey.
Egypt will play Cameroon in the semi-finals of the African Nations next Thursday, February 3rd.
