CAIRO – 11 July 2017: The quarterfinal confrontations of the African clubs tournaments has been set for Monday. It is scheduled to take place after the end of the matches of the final round during the group stage on July 9, CAF official website announced.
Zamalek bid farewell to the CAF Champions League on Sunday after the team came in the third place in its group.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly managed to continue its journey at the African Champions League after their win over Coton Sport FC 3-1 on Saturday.
The other African Club Championship is the CAF Confederations Cup.
Smouha SC left that championship on Sunday after the team tied with Recreativo do Libolo. They occupy the last place of group C with only 6 points.
The first leg of the quarterfinals of CAF African Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup will be played between September 8 -10, and the second leg will be played between September 15-17.
