Mane praises Salah: We are just lucky to have him in our squad

CAIRO-25 December 2021: Sadio Mane, Liverpool’s Senegalese winger, believes that the current form of his Egyptian teammate, Mohamed Salah, is a massive boost to the team.

Mane said that the Egyptian winger is currently the best player in the world, ahead of the duo’s participation in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

“Can you say one player better than him right now?" He said. "Every single week he shows it on the pitch. You can't disagree with it. He is the best player" Mane said.  

Mane and Salah have been sharing the attacking line of Liverpool for four years, helping the team regain its status as one of the top clubs in Europe.

Mane added “He's always scoring for us. We are just lucky to have him in our squad.”

The Senegalese’s praise for Salah does not make him in doubt about who is the fastest in the Reds’ attacking line.

“Short distance I am quicker. Long distance I am quicker!" The Senegalese continued.

Liverpool will have to deal with the absence of Salah and Mane, who will leave alongside Naby Keita, to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
