File- Yasser Ibrahim celebrates scoring for the Red Eagles
CAIRO, 22 December 2021: All eyes on Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan as Al Ahly and Raja Casablanca come head to head for the CAF Super Cup.
The Red Eagles are the team with most titles in the competition (7) and they are the defending champions after defeating RS Berkane of Morocco 2-0 last May in Doha.
The Moroccan giants have won the CAF Super Cup title on two occasions in 2000 and 2019.
The expected line-up of Al-Ahly for Wednesday's match: Mohamed El-Shenawy, Badr Benoun, Yasser Ibrahim, Akram Tawfik, Ali Maaloul, Amr El Soulya, Aliou Dieng, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Hamdy Fathi, Percy Tau and Mohamed Sherif.
And the tickets offered by the organizing committee for the African Super Championship match were sold out and Al Ahly fans are expected to pack the stands and support the Red Eagles.
The game starts at 7:00 PM.
