CAIRO-10 December 2021: Fatih Terim, Galatasaray head coach, stated on Thursday that his team will activate the option to buy their Egyptian striker Mostafa Mohamed from Zamalek.
The player has joined the Turkish giants in January 2021 on a long-term loan with an option to buy and the Turkish club's officials are happy with the striker's performance since he joined the team.
"We will activate the option to buy Mostafa and he will stay with us. We spoke with the president that we want to keep him." Terim said after the goalless draw against Lazio in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The Egyptian striker appeared in 24 appearances for Galatasaray this season and he managed to score four goals.
Galatasaray reached the Europa League round of 16 after topping their group with 12 points as they finished their group with 3 wins and 3 draws.
They hope to keep their journey in the competition and create another unforgettable story in Europe after their great success in the opening year of the new millennium when they won the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup titles.
