Salah and Origi team up to secure a precious win for Liverpool

CAIRO-4 December 2021: Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton witnessed another electric Premier League game on Saturday as the visitors, Liverpool, secured a hard-fought win thanks to a beautiful goal in the dying seconds of the match. 

When the home fans were ready to hear the final whistle of the game, aiming for a precious point against the Reds, Virgil van Dijk sent a wonderful long pass to Salah. The Egyptian escaped down the right, delivering a beautiful pass to Divock Origi who put the ball in the back of the net. 

Origi's goal was enough to put an end to the resistance of the Wolves, sparkling wild celebrations at the Liverpool bench as Liverpool needed the three points to reach the top of the Premier League table. 

The Reds hope that their lead continues for more than just a few hours as Manchester City have a chance to finish the day at the top if they secured the three points away from home against Watford. 

Salah failed to maintain his great scoring form but he extended his lead as the Premier League top assist provider with 9 assists.
