CAIRO-2 December 2021: Jordan Henderson, Liverpool captain, was full of praise for his Egyptian teammate Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian scored two goals to lead his team to an emphatic 4-1 win against city-rivals Everton on Wednesday.
"He’s a joy to play with and he makes my life a lot easier. You know he’s going to create chances, score goals, and at the minute you wouldn’t want to play against him." Henderson said.
The Egyptian scored Liverpool's second and third goals in the game. Salah's first goal came in the first half after the Egyptian received a lovely long pass from Henderson and went one against one with the goalkeeper, curling the ball in the top corner.
Salah killed the game in the second half, when he cut the ball inside his own half and raced towards the opponent's box, putting the ball in the back of the net with a sensational touch.
Liverpool captain added "I just give him the ball and he’ll put it in the back of the net so, yeah, another outstanding performance from him."
The Egyptian extended his lead at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts, taking his tally to 13 goals.
