Sherif, El Shenawy return to Al Ahly's starting line-up against Zamalek

CAIRO-5 November 2021: Mohamed Sherif, Al Ahly's striker, is back to his team's starting line-up for the first time in the league this season. 

 

Pitso Mosimane, Al Ahly's head coach, decided to rely on his in-form striker after he scored Al Ahly's winning goal against National Bank SC last week, coming from the bench. 

 

Also, Mohamed El Shenawy, the team's starting goalkeeper, is back to action for the first time this season after recovering from his injury that sidelined him for more than a month. 

 

Mosimane will use a 3-4-3 formation with Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Percy Tau playing behind Sherif and supplying him with key passes.

 

Al Ahly's Starting Line-up for the game consists of: El Shenawy, Akram Tawfik, Ali Maaloul, Ayman Ashraf, Badr Benoun, Hamdy Fathy, Aliou Dieng, Amr El Soulia, Percy Tau, Afsha and Sherif. 

 

The game starts at 8:00 PM.
