El Shenawy misses Al Ahly’s clash against National Bank SC

CAIRO-30 October 2021:  Al Ahly’s starting goalkeeper is not ready yet to return to action as he was not named in Al Ahly’s squad for Sunday’s game against National Bank SC in the second week of the Egyptian Premier League.

The player participated in the team’s training sessions on Friday and Sunday but he is still unfit to participate in matches.

Al Ahly fans hope their captain to return before the Cairo derby, scheduled on Friday.

Al Ahly had a strong start to the league with a 4-0 win over Ismaily thanks to two debut goals from Tau and two goals from Maaloul and Abdelkader.
