EHF reveals new season dates

CAIRO – 10 July 2017: The Egyptian Cup Round of 64 launches on 18 October, Egyptian Handball Federation (EHF) announced on Sunday.

EHF has decided that the competitions will take place on the same day for the Youth Cup competitions from 2001 through 2003. However, the 2018 Egyptian League will kick off on 4 October.

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport hosts the Handball Mini Summer Tournament from September 6-14. The first stage starts September 6-8, the second stage starts September 9-11, and the third stage starts from September 12 and ends on September 14.

The Egyptian Handball national team started preparations for the 2017 Handball African Cup of Nations held in Gabon in January.
Egyptian coach Marawan Ragab will try to keep the title. Egypt has won the title 6 times.
