CNE to end beIN Sport contracts

CAIRO –9 July 2017: Cable Network Egypt "CNE” announced on Sunday in an official statement that they are reviewing their contracts with beIN Sport Qatari Network, which buys the copyrights of sports events.

CNE discusses the ways to end current contracts without renewing them for other periods with beIN Sport after exploitation and lack of competition showed by the Qatari group.

CNE insisted on putting the subscribers' rights in consideration in the upcoming procedures.

Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation also discusses the importance of beIN Sport customer service existence in Egypt after they ended their subscriptions in the country on Nile Sat.

Many Companies complain against beIN Sport due to their monopolistic strategy towards the competitions of national teams and clubs.
