Lukaku joined United to play again under Mourinho – Reuters
CAIRO – 9 July 2017: Romelu Lukaku seems very happy with his upcoming career chapter in Manchester United, Manchester United announced signing Lukaku on Saturday.
"Who would say no to the biggest club in the world? I think Manchester United, at the minute, wants to be the dominant team, that dominant force. If you look at their history, it says enough, I am really delighted to hopefully be part of their history," Lukaku told ESPN.
Manchester United paid $96 million, in addition their top goal scorer, Wayne Rooney, to complete the deal with Everton.
Lukaku talked about what he loves in his new club, he continued to ESPN "Best stadium in England and the best fans. This is the perfect opportunity; I always said I wanted to play for a team that's challenging for every trophy that there is.”
Lukaku played 36 matches in the Premier League last season scoring 25 goals, according to whoscored.com.
