Morientes: Mbappe is just a kid

CAIRO – 9 July 2017: Fernando Morientes, former Real Madrid player, talked on Saturday about the possible transfer of Keylan Mbappe to Real Madrid.

“When you talk about these types of figures, it's usually because the player has generated a certain level of expectation," Morientes told EFE.

Morientes added "It's difficult to digest, but when a player is tempted by so many clubs, it's because he has a lot of talent."
Morientes discussed how Mbappe will react with fame in young age, he said, ‘He is just a kid, still in the process of maturing, the weight of responsibility will be on his shoulders.”

Morientes represented Real Madrid for eight years from 1997 to 2005, he won three Champions League titles in 1998, 2000 and 2002, and he also won two Spanish League titles in 2001 and 2003.

Mbappe, 18 years, got big European teams attention after having a great season with Monaco; he scored 26 goals last season.
