Italy faces Spain & Canada faces the U.S. at Youth Basketball World Cup semifinals

CAIRO - 8 July 2017 : The semifinals of the Federation of International Basketball Association (FIBA) Under-19 (U19) Basketball World Cup begin Saturday in the Indoor Halls Complex of the Cairo International Stadium.

Classification matches also run on Saturday, as part of the U19 tournament held in Cairo from July 1 to July 9.

After defeating Iran 57-53, Egypt will play against Japan in class 9-12 classification match. With Japan defeating Korea 77-66, Iran will face Korea in class 13-16 classification match.

The matches, in local time, are as follows:

Semifinals (Hall 2)
Spain - Italy at 06:00 p.m.
Canada - USA at 08:30 p.m.

Class 5-8 (Hall 1)
Argentina - Lithuania at 01:00 p.m.
France - Germany at 03:30 p.m.

Class 9-12 (Hall 2)
Puerto Rico - New Zealand at 04:00 p.m.
Egypt - Japan at 06:15 p.m.

Class 13-16 (Hall 2)
Angola - Mali at 11:30 a.m.
Iran - Korea at 01:45 p.m.
