CAIRO-3 July 2021: Al Ahly’s match against South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs in the CAF Champions League final will be played behind closed doors.

The Moroccan ministry of health refused to allow fans to attend the game amid COVID-19 restrictions.

According to the Moroccan Ministry of Health, the two teams will undergo a COVID-19 test and they will enter a medical bubble 3 days ahead of the game

For the second season in a row, the CAF Champions League final will be played without spectators after last season’s final at Cairo International Stadium, which saw Al Ahly achieving their 9th CAF Champions League title after defeating Zamalek 2-1.

The Red Eagles will be looking forward to winning the 10th title and completing their amazing run in the competition this season.

The title holders reached the final after defeating Tunisia’s Esperance 4-0 on aggregate in the semis.

The CAF Champions League final is scheduled on 17 July at Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca.
