CAIRO-2 July 2021: Zamalek's Tunisian striker Seifeddine Jaziri stated that he is happy at Zamalek and he is honoured to defend the white jersey after the club bought him permanently from Arab Contractors.
Zamalek announced on Thursday that they have activated the option to buy they had on the Tunisian striker and he will be committed to the club until 2024 summer.
"It is an honour to play for a big club like Zamalek. I hope to step up to the expectations and to be a good addition to the team." Jaziri said after signing his new contract.
The Tunisian joined Zamalek on a 6-month loan in the winter transfer market as a replacement for Mostafa Mohamed, who left the club to join Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Jaziri added "Zamalek fans are very supportive and I will do my best with my teammates to win titles for them."
The 28-year old striker played 16 matches with Zamalek in all competitions, having scored two goals and set up another two for the White Knights.
Buying Jaziri's contract is another achievement for the club's new interim board, headed by Hussein Labib, after they managed to renew the contracts of the team's stars, Mahmoud El Wensh and Ahmed Sayed Zizo.
