Germany first, Egypt 24th in FIFA’s monthly ranking

CAIRO – 6 July 2017: FIFA’s official website announced on July 6 the monthly rankings of the national teams.

Germany who came third in last month’s ranking managed to take the lead from Brazil after winning the Confederations Cup, while the Egyptian national team came in the 24th rank worldwide and first in Africa after being ranked 20th last month.

In the top ten positions, Poland went from 10th to 6th while Switzerland went from 9th to 5th in the worldwide ranking.

According to the FIFA’s ranking these are the top 10 teams for this month:

1. Germany (1609)

2. Brazil (1606)

3. Argentina (1413)

4. Portugal (1332)

5. Switzerland (1329)

6. Poland (1319)

7. Chile (1250)

8. Columbia (1208)

9. France (1199)

10. Belgium (1194)

The top 5 teams in Africa are as follows:

24. Egypt (866)

27. Senegal (831)

28. Congo Democratic (823)

34. Tunisia (764)

36. Cameroon (738)

Spain, Italy, and England were out of the top 10 teams worldwide coming in positions 11, 12, 13 respectively.
