CAIRO - 6 July 2017: Three decisive games were held on Wednesday in the relegation battle of the Egyptian Premier League. In the 34th and final round of the competition, Aswan governorate clubs Aswan SC and Al-Nasr Lel Taadeen were relegated, in addition to the third relegated team Al-Sharkia, which was set down last week.
Ahmed al-Sheikh, attacking midfielder for Misr el-Makasa, achieved the status of top scorer in the Egyptian Premier League after the competition reached it last round with four goals more than the second highest scorer, according to Super Kora.
The top scorers of the Egyptian premier league after Wednesday's matches were:
Ahmed Al Sheikh (Misr el-Makasa) - 17 goals
Hossam Hassan (Al-Sharkia) -13 goals
Kabongo Kasongo (Al-Ittihad el-Sakandry) - 12 goals
Oumed Oukri (El Entag el-Harby) - 11 goals
