Preview: Euro U19 Group A matches

CAIRO – 5 July 2017: Two matches are expected to be played on July 5 in the second bracket of the group stages in the U19 European Championship in Georgia.

The tournament takes place between July 2-15 .

The first match of the day will be between Georgia and Sweden at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium at 3:30 p.m. Cairo local time. Both teams will be looking for their first victory during their second match of the tournament. Georgia lost to the Portuguese team 1-0, however Sweden lost in their first match against Czech Republic 2-1.

At 6 p.m. Portugal will battle the Czech Republic at the David Petriashvili Stadium.
Group A standings for the U19 UEFA European Championship are as follows: Czech Republic is in first place with three points, followed by Portugal in second with three points; Sweden and Georgia are in third and fourth. Neither Sweden nor Georgia has points.
