Al Ahly earn valuable 2-1 win against Zamalek

CAIRO, 19 April 2021: Al-Ahly decided the top match against their host Zamalek on Sunday night, in a postponed match of the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League, with a score of 2-1, in Cairo Stadium.
 
The red team dominated the match from the start, and Mohamed Sherif scored in the 21st minute, before Mahmoud Abdel Razek "Shikabala" equalized in the 30th minute, but the first hit a great shot, scoring the victory goal in the 34th minute.
 
Al-Ahly their tally to 30 points and three points away from Zamalek, who played 3 more meetings than Al Ahly.
 
Each team dominanted a half but Al Ahly players were more decisive by scoring two goals in the first half.
 
Zamalek's Mahmoud Alaa missed a chance to equalize the score in the second half by wasting a penalty as Al Ahly's Ali Lotfy saved it.
 
Zamalek will play their host El Entag El Harby on Thursday in the 16th round of the league, while Al-Ahly will host the Smouha team on Wednesday.
