Egypt faces Germany in U-19 Basketball World Cup match

CAIRO – 4 July 2017: Egyptian youngsters will take on their German counterparts in the FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup Group A contests. The match will take place at 8:30 p.m. Cairo local time on Tuesday at Cairo Stadium.

Coming after a tough loss to the Lithuanian squad, the pharaohs enter the game today with hopes of regaining their verve in their World Cup journey. The Egyptian squad was off to a shaky but still positive start at the Championship’s opener as they scored a narrow victory over Puerto Rico of 67-65.

The FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup is currently taking place in Cairo from July 1 to 9.
