Marriott Hotels in Egypt joined forces bringing together culinary experts from various regions and backgrounds to host the launch of the Strawberry Festival at Plateau located at JW Marriott Cairo. The event focused on sampling of innovative strawberry delights created by master chefs combining both sweet and savory items, where guests came together in a significant outdoor ambiance to share meaningful moments and help them nourish the mind, body and spirit.
Heinz F. Grub the General Manager of JW Marriott Cairo, kicked off the event by thanking each participating hotel including Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino, Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino, The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa, Katameya Dunes, Le Meridien Cairo Airport and Renaissance Cairo Mirage City Hotel in addition to thanking El Nour Company for sponsoring the event.
Grub gave a brief about the Strawberry as a product and the nutritional values associated, while chefs’ from all sister properties displayed their creativity, enthusiasm and involvement in designing unique items for guests to sample. The invitees included press, media and food bloggers, in addition to General Managers and Food & Beverage Directors of participating sister hotels.
