Sapporo is Back & Now Open at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel

The renowned Sushi & Teppanyaki restaurant “Sapporo” has just reopened its doors again at the legendary towers of the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino in a huge cocktail party.

The party that took place last week to celebrate & highlight the comeback and the reopening of the famous Sapporro restaurant was full of celebrities, media representatives, food bloggers, social media influencers and BonVoy members.

The night started with a great tempo live DJ music, salads, starters displays & pass arounds displays with different Sushi & Sashimi Combinations then the big show started with 4 Teppan Yaki Chefs preparing, cooking and serving 5 different Teppanyaki Specialities at the same time to all guests on the sound of the music and the clapping of the invitees. The night was also full of other surprises, live pianist, chic giveaways and fabulous ba rmen cocktails shows that inspired all invitees all night long.

The Famous Sapporo restaurant was the first Japanese restaurant to offer Teppanyaki and Sushi in Egypt back in the 90s, and was totally renovated as part of the hotel extensive renovation in 2011 and now is back with a revamped space to offer daily fresh authentic sushi, teppanyaki and Japanese dishes, fueled by a live DJ performance and a buzzing bar.

Sapporo is now headed by the Japanese chef “Komatsu” who also comes from the city of “Sapporo” in Japan. Komatsu joined the Sapporo team in the 90s, which was his first job in a hotel restaurant in Egypt and now he is back again after so many year where he belongs to.
