Egypt’s Cleopatra Group enters strategic partnership with JZMK Partners to design, build Smeralda Bay, Sidi Heneish
Cairo — 31 October: Overseeing one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Smeralda Bay Sidi Heneish marks a breakthrough in tourism investments and in the real-estate sector in line with Egypt’s 2030 vision, said Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Chairman of Cleopatra Group during a Friday press conference that witnessed the signing of a strategic partnership between Cleopatra Group and the international architectural and urban planning firm JZMK Partners to execute the largest residential and entertainment project in the North-Coast.
Cleopatra Group’s Smeralda Bay project has started with the establishment of a five-star touristic hotel that is set to be operational early April 2021, with the aim to attract European tourists to the beautiful North Coast. “We were very keen on establishing the first hotel in the area before starting to market for the [rest of] the project,” Abou El-Enein stated, adding that the second part of the project, which is Smeralda Bay Compound, has taken into account all the local and international market requirements including a variety of spaces and prices, from villas and chalets surrounding a beautiful lagoon. “The first phase of the project was sold out within 15 to 20 days, and we have entered the second phase,” Abou El Enein said in the press conference, announcing that three more hotels will also be built.
From his side, Chief Executive Officer at JZMK Partners Cachi Martinez said, “We want to make sure that this [Smeralda Bay] becomes the crown jewel of the North Coast,” adding that they are taking a “holistic approach to the design to make sure that it covers everything that needs to be done.” Martinez further added that the project is a challenge. “We love this kind of challenges and I think together as a group, we are going to create something that will be unique for all Egyptians,” he said.
Located at the North Coast at kilo 247 Alexandria Matrouh Road near Ras El Hikma city and close to the New Alamein and Matrouh airports, Smeralda Bay project is set to include chalets, penthouses, twin houses, and standalone villas. Marking Cleopatra Group’s seventh project over an experience of one decade in Hurgada, Sharm El Sheikh, El Gouna and Greater Cairo, Smeralda Bay ventures into a new charming Egyptian area, offering a variety of units with premium water views. It spreads over 50 acres, further including an eco-friendly resort, swimming pools, commercial malls, and sports areas. The project is also designed to be environmentally friendly and to ensure accessibility.
A hidden paradise of aqua-blue tranquility, Sidi Heneish has the finest and clearest water, making it one of Egypt’s precious gems. It is also known to have one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
