CAIRO  27 September 2020: The Czech Republic would resume its tourist trips to Egypt starting from the 1st of October 2020, said Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Mr. Jan Fulík, on Saturday.
 
Mr. Jan Fulík’s comments came in a meeting with Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khald Anani and Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar on the sideline of the diplomatic visit to Sharm El Sheikh city by 30 ambassadors in Cairo, to celebrate the Tourism World Day due on Sept. 27, according to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
 
The ambassador added that tourist flights will be operated from Prague to the cities of Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, and Marsa Alam, noting that the booking websites start accepted the tourist’ reservations.
 
Minister Anani praised the efforts exerted by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ambassador of Egypt in Prague to resume the inbound tourism from the Czech Republic to Egypt, the statement added.
 
Late August, Anani paid an official visit to Prague to inaugurate the “Kings of the Sun” exhibition.
