CAIRO – 21 September 2020: Hurghada International Airport received the first flight of the Swiss Company Chair airline, GM3506 Airbus A319, coming from Zurich, Switzerland.
This comes within the framework of efforts exerted by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in cooperation with other ministries and concerned bodies to boost incoming tourist movement to Egypt after a long hiatus due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
A team from the airport received the passengers aboard the flight with flowers, and facilitated their procedures, while applying all the precautionary measures to guarantee their safety.
Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar ensured that Egypt is always seeking to boost tourism, open new markets and attract different segments of tourists from around the world.
