Mountain View launched its campaign “Protect those who Protect us “ to Support Egypt’s White Army

As part of its direct contribution to encounter the current hardship and support the government’s efforts to fight the pandemic, Mountain View collaborated with Misr El Kheir Foundation to provide our white army in specialized hospitals around Egypt with medical safety supplies; including gloves, facemasks, coveralls and goggles.

While they work day and night on saving our lives, the campaign aims to protect them as well as fight the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Under the name, “Protect those who Protect us”, the campaign addresses the increasing necessity of safety supplies at medical facilities. Becoming a luxury that is too expensive and difficult to find, doctors in direct contact with patients are in need of a larger stock of protective gear to be able to adhere to the WHO's recommendations and pursue their missions safely.

The initiative mainly connects donors who aim to support the country, suppliers who have the means to produce the needed supplies and doctors at specialized hospitals, hence closing the circle; directly saving doctors, supporting them as they cure patients and eventually help the country control the spread of the pandemic.

This initiative is in line with the developer's vision to be an integral and proactive part of the society and its welfare; especially during hardships. Aside from protecting the company's community of residents and employees through the application of strict safety measures, Mountain View is also keen on contributing to the current aid needed to support the ministry of health and the brave doctors at the frontline. In parallel to the government’s efforts to build a united front in face of the pandemic, Mountain View believes in the importance of its social responsibility to save lives. Therefore, the real-estate developer did not only contribute to the campaign through direct donations; but they have also taken it upon themselves to reach out to other companies to raise more funds. In parallel, the industry leader also worked on encouraging their employees and residents to partake in the initiative through donations. With a total target worth of 80 million pounds, the initiative has already successfully delivered the first batch of packages to a number of hospitals such as El Negela Central Hospital in Marsa Matrouh and El Agamy General Hospital in Alexandria.
