Adeeb: Egyptians’ donations during Ramadan exceed LE billions

CAIRO – 21 June 2017: Egyptian donations in Ramadan surpassed LE billions as Egyptian TV anchor Amr Adeeb, stated in his show ‘Kol Youm’ on ON E channel on June 18, adding that people will be surprised at the end of Ramadan by how much money Egyptians donated.
He affirmed that this figure shows high degree of generosity among Egyptians.



Adeeb pointed out that the charities take place underneath the central device for public statistics. And those donations to charities will be announced to the public.

The holy month of Ramadan witnesses a surge in the philanthropic and community service activities. For years, there are television and outdoor ads that only show up in Ramadan by various charities, NGOs, hospitals, and the Food Bank to raise donations.
