Egypt,Cairo,5 March 2020: Huawei Consumer Business Group(CBG) announced its strategic partnership with Commercial International Bank (CIB), Egypt’s leading private sector bank, to provide the CIB Mobile Banking application on HUAWEI’s AppGallery platform, making it the first banking app on the AppGallery in Egypt.
HUAWEI AppGallery is one of the three best app stores in the world, which is available in over 170 countries/regions with 400 million monthly active users (MAUs), covering mainstream apps and services worldwide.
Huawei places privacy protection and cyber security as the top priorities in HUAWEI AppGallery, by deploying the highest level of verification to isolate and protect users’ sensitive data and privacy. Personally-sensitive information – such as biometric data – will never be processed outside the Huawei device, giving the user complete control over their personal data. HUAWEI AppGallery provides its customers with different necessary and multi-purpose applications, which comes on top of the banking sector.
