Aviation safety in spotlight after some airlines avoided Ukraine - REUTERS
KUWAIT CITY, March 24 (MENA) - The Kuwaiti Civil Aviation Authority decided to operate three flights on Wednesday to bring home nationals stranded in Egypt, Lebanon and Bahrain.
In a statement posted on Twitter, the authority said the first flight will arrive from Beirut at 1:00 p.m., the second one from Cairo at 4:00 p.m. and the third from Manama at 7:00 p.m.
At a press conference following the cabinet's extraordinary session, Foreign Minister Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah said his country will start a repatriation plan to bring home nationals stuck in many countries following coronavirus outbreak.
The plan will come into effect on Wednesday and run till March 30.
