Orange Egypt Renews its Partnership with Coca-Cola Bottling Egypt

Orange Egypt and Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Egypt have announced the renewal of their partnership to provide mobile services, digital applications and solutions through Orange’s network as well as providing tracking services to Coca-Cola fleet, which is one of the largest distribution fleets in Egypt. In addition, the two companies will also cooperate in the field of joint advertising.

In line with Orange Egypt's strategy and Egypt vision for 2030 that focuses on digital transformation and financial inclusion projects, Orange is providing Coca-Cola with the latest digital services that will assist the company in having an efficient administrative system such as GPS tracking service for Coca Cola fleet vehicles and coolers tracking service enabling Coca Cola to have a real time tracking for products in the market, thus saving energy and reduce operational costs.
According to the partnership agreement, Orange Egypt will be providing Orange Cash services to Coca-Cola traders and distributors that will help in getting their business done quickly, reducing Coca Cola cash transactions and increasing operating efficiencies, including less paperwork, better transparency and accountability via the electronic records.
Adding to this, Orange Egypt will provide Coca-Cola Egypt’s employees and customers an access to free & speedy Wi-Fi network in all the main branches food courts and waiting areas throughout Egypt. Orange also offers the bulk SMS service that enable Coca Cola to launch successful marketing campaigns and reaching out to existing and new customers.

Moreover, Orange Egypt, in cooperation with Orange Labs, has designed and developed an advanced human resources application tailored for Coca Cola’s employees whereby they can check out their salaries, submit vacation requests, and follow up on their work in addition to other benefits offered by their company.

Orange has also provided Coca-Cola and all its affiliates including employees and their families with more than 55,000 lines with a tailored voice services and data bundles.

In a ceremony held by the two companies, the partnership agreement was signed by Eng. Shaker, CEO and Managing Director of Orange Egypt, and Eng. Ahmed Al-Afifi, CEO of Coca-Cola Bottling Egypt in the presence of senior officials of the two companies and representatives of the press and media.
