CAIRO – 18 June 2017: Berries are nature’s best candy, but are only available for a few months a year, ranging from April to June, depending on the location of the tree.
The berries in Egypt’s Western Desert do ripe earlier than those in the Eastern Desert and Sinai. Among the many things St. Catherine in South Sinai is known for is its berries. They have a distinguished taste and smell; the trees there are wild and naturally grown.
