KetoDiet menu in My Bakery
Inter Continental Cairo City stars has announced the launch of KetoDiet menu in My Bakery. The menu, which consists of a variety of pastries includingflavoured fresh cookies,brioche, cheesecakes, puddings, cupcakes and a wide selection of desserts. All the itemsareprepared using fresh ingredients based on the advice and expertise of professional nutritionists and Ketogenic diet veterans.
Trevor Stevens, Executive Assistant Manager, in charge of food and beverage at InterContinental Cairo Citystars commented, “Over the last few years, there has been a general awareness among people about staying in shape, as a result Ketogenic diet has emerged and is becoming a large trend. As lifestyles grow more sedentary, guests want to cut down on carbs in their daily diet and prefer healthier options even when dining out, and through understanding the needs of our guests, InterContinental Cairo Citystars takes a lead over the market by creating a special Ketodiet menu to appeal to such specific needs”.
“When we have decided to create a keto diet menu, it was very important for us not to compromise the taste. It took our pastry team a lot of research and experimenting until we agreed on the recipes and curated ingredients.” Said Jean-Claude Fugier, The Director of Kitchens at InterContinental Cairo Citystars. “In addition to the desserts and breads at My Bakery, we have also added many ketogenic diet friendly dishes to Fayruz Lebanese restaurant and Al Khal Egyptian restaurant menus in order to cater to our guests’ tastes.” Jean-Claude added
