Tourism minister leaves for Riyadh

CAIRO, Oct 29 (MENA) - Minister of Tourism Rania Al Mashaat left here on Tuesday for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the annual meetings of the Saudi sovereign fund.

Mashaat will be attending the fund's meetings at an invitation from the fund's board. The meetings are held under the auspices of Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman.

The main theme of the meetings will be "An Initiative for Investment Future". The initiative is an international forum tackling global investment orientations and new partnerships that will outline the future of investment.

Mashaat will take part in a session on tourism and explain efforts exerted by her ministry for upgrading the tourism sector in Egypt.
