Benefiting from the hot, dry weather in Luxor, Mahmoud Taha established his company, Agritech and provided job opportunities to the locals to collect, cut, and dry the tomatoes in the sun.

The high-quality sundried tomatoes were recognized by Italians and the yield is now exported to the Italian market.
