HEAR 4 YOU event
Cairo, Egypt: October 14, 2019 – Avon has partnered with Entreprenelle once again to enhance society by empowering women’s entrepreneurship skills. The HEAR 4 YOU event that took place on 9 October is another chance for women in the country to have their ideas heard and pushed to the forefront.
HEAR 4 YOU is an event that embodies Entreprenelle’s continuous efforts to empower women in the MENA region. The event aims to educate and coach women about their own potential, and ways to bring it to the surface, to bring about real change in their current circumstances. With a series of workshops and lectures presented by leading experts in the field, Entreprenelle is a leading ally of women seeking their own route to success. With a shared mission and vision, Avon and Entreprenelle are partnering on HEAR 4 YOU to provide women with support networks and opportunities. The Event also highlighted the current difficulties women face in the region related to entrepreneurship, and try to develop strategies to overcome these obstacles.
Since 2015, Entreprenelle has been an active force for change by empowering women across 9 governorates through education, training, mentorship opportunities, and linking them to as many resources as possible to help them excel. To date, Entreprenelle has positively impacted the lives of over 50,000 women, established an online community of over 250,000 people across multiple social media platforms, hosted over 100 entrepreneurship workshops, and successfully hosted 15 mega educational events.
Avon Egypt’s partnership with Entreprenelle began earlier this year with the SHE CAN event on March 8 in honor of International Women’s Day. Annually, Avon Egypt provides thousands of women of every social strata with a reliable and supported earning opportunity as Sales Representatives, regardless of their status or education, empowering them to achieve their targets no matter how big or small. Since 1886, Avon has been empowering women to live on their own terms by offering them an alternative to achieve economic independence at a time where they were not even able to vote in most of the countries.
