CAIRO - 23 September 2019: The 2nd annual E-Commerce Summit held at the Nile Ritz Carlton has praised realme as the fastest growing smartphone brand in Egypt. This announcement was made in the presence of various corporate delegates and dignitaries, including the Minister of Information and Communications Technology.
Launching in early 2019, this momentous achievement reinforces the digitally-lead strategy realme has adopted, not only in Egypt, but internationally. Partnering with the e-commerce platform Jumia.com, realme has successfully launched five models through the website and achieved record-breaking sales figures; more notably during the realme 3 Pro launch which sold 1,000 units in the first 5 minutes.
By focusing their efforts on relating to the younger generation, realme has capitalized on the “youth bulge” in Egyptian demographics and secured their loyalty to the brand through competitive features, attractive design, and moderate pricing. Marketing Communication and Public Relations Manager, Andro Nabil comments, “realme has achieved a 3.3% market share in less than a year with 5% of our sales derived from products within the 2,000-5,000 EGP price range. Our users number over 220,000 Egyptians who have found that realme not only surpasses other competitors in certain functional features but resonates with them on an emotional level as well.”
Currently, realme has launched their latest flagship model, the 3 Pro which houses state-of-the-art specifications including a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 AIE processor,VOOC Flash Charge, an elegant dewdrop display with 6.3” screen, and modern design that incorporates a vibrant color range.
