Yanni returns to Egypt with a live performance for 5000 guests at Mountain View Ras El Hikma
This year, summer came to the shores of the North Coast bringing enchanting music, as the international musician, Yanni, returned to Egypt for the first time since 2015, for an unforgettable performance at Mountain View Ras El Hikma compound.
The award-winning composer expressed his happiness and appreciation of the warm welcome he received upon arriving,referring to this trip as a visit to his second home Egypt; especially after his successful concert at the Pyramids in 2015, which he named “The Dream Concert”.Yanni said that he chose Mountain View Ras El Hikma in particular to be an important stop in his world tour due to its importance as a global touristic destination.
This event was recognized as the biggest seated event in the history of Egypt; with an audience of 5000 guests witnessing the global artist perform on the beach in one of the unmatched spots of the North Coast at the Greek islands of Mountain View.
The concert did not only receive a huge audience, but also hosted a unique attendance of high-profile guests including Khaled Anan Minister of Antiquities, GhadaWali Minister of Social Solidarity, Enas Abdel Dayem Minister of Culture, and Nabila Makram Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs. Additionally, celebrities including Ahmed Fahmy, Boushra, Ahmed Hatem, HeshamKharma and GehanAbdallah were among the attendees.
The Greek rooted international musician stunned the crowd with an exceptional performance, as he introduced his most celebrated compositions including “Nostalgia,” “The Rain Must Fall,” “World Dance,” among others in a two-hour performance where he was accompanied by 15 musicians.
The concert attracted global attention due to its top-notch standards and diverse audience. It has also showcased Egypt’s capabilities of hosting and organizing international events as one of the most prominent destinations in the Middle East and the world due to its unique assets.
AmrSoliman, CEO of Mountain View stated that this concert is a continuation to Mountain View’s firm belief in supporting the Egyptian tourism sector and encouraging the export of real estate with an event suitable for foreign guests.
Soliman further stated that the concert is a continuation to their commitment to not only develop units, but rather create communities with a certain lifestyle that they strive to maintain.
Moreover, Ras El Hikma is soon to witness an addition to its unique summer compounds, with Mountain View poised to launch the "Rhodes Island" on an area of 50 acres. Mountain View’s Rhodes is to showcase its distinctive Greekarchitectural design conveying Greek atmosphere to its residents.
