EgyptAir operates 23 flights to ferry 4,400 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia

CAIRO, Aug 5 (MENA) - EgyptAir is operating 23 flights carrying 4,400 pilgrims to perform Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

In a statement released on Monday, Egypt's flag carrier said around 12 flights with 2,100 pilgrims on board were operated to Jeddah, while the other 11 flights carrying 2,300 pilgrims were heading for Medina.

This year, EgyptAir is set to ferry some 74,000 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
