Etihad Airways Event for Egypt’s Children’s Cancer Hospital

If you’re in Abu Dhabi on February 1, then head over to the corniche for Etihad Airways Colour Their Lives, a charity event to raise funds to support the kids at the Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation in Egypt. There will be booths, exciting activities and live entertainment for both adults and children. If you can’t be there for the whole day from 10am to 7pm, then definitely set aside your afternoon. At 1pm, a parade kicks off the live entertainment program. At 4pm, the UAE Air Force presents a 15-minute Air Show, followed by another parade. At 4:30pm, the Fun Run kicks off with three categories: children ages 6-14 or with special needs, mothers with children under the age of 6, and all other adults. Be sure to save your event ticket, because a lucky draw starts at 5:10pm. All registered participants with a valid event ticket get a chance to enter to win 10 different gifts, each valued at 1,000 AED. The big fundraiser is Etihad Airways’ Trip of a Lifetime auction. The airline is auctioning off five packages: Disneyland Paris, Seychelles/Maldives, Germany, Thailand and Philippines, with proceeds going to the Children’s Cancer Hospital.
