CAIRO - 10 June 2017: A technical failure caused a four-hour delay for an Egypt Air flight headed from Cairo International Airport to Kuwait, sources at the airport said Saturday.
As the pilot for Egypt Air flight MS610 was finalizing takeoff procedures he discovered a technical failure which precluded the flight’s departure, the sources said. A maintenance unit was immediately called to handle the issue.
When the maintenance team was unable to repair the issue, a different plane was designated for the flight and shortly thereafter the flight departed for its final destination.
