CAIRO - 12 July 2019: Chadian President Idriss Deby has lauded EgyptAir's decision to operate three direct flights a week from N'djamena to Cairo.

In a statement released on Friday, the national flag carrier said the move comes as part of its efforts to boost cooperation between Egypt and Chad and the government's keenness to achieve development in Africa, especially in light of Cairo's presidency of the African Union for 2019.

EgyptAir's office representatives in Chad took part in an international conference of the Francophone community to discuss child education and the role of women in society, in the presence of the Chadian leader.
