Abdullah Al-Othaim Company for investment inaugurates its first Snow concept in Egypt

Cairo; Egypt: 1st July 2019: Abdullah Al-Othaim Leisure & Tourism Company launches it’s first Snow City concept in Cairo, Egypt with the honour of Saudi Arabian Ambassador Sir Osama Noqaly, making this as the fifth leisure project by the company in Egypt.

The opening was in the presence of Mr. Abdullah Saleh Al-Othaim,Chairman, Mr. Fahad Abdullah Al-Othaim, Vice Chairman & CEOand the Board of Directors and Managers of Al-Othaim Company.

Snow City investment hits 500 million Egyptian Pounds, with an area of 60,000 square feet and its freezing temperatures reaching -5 degree Celsius.

Snow City is covered with 750 pounds of snow manufactured using pure water. Snow City also uses the latest international specifications and French technology and commits to safety and security criteria to provide real snow environment. It lets visitors live in a snow environment all year long. Snow city is also considered as one of the environment friendly projects.

Mr. Fahad Abdullah Al-Othaim, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, expressed his deep happiness for the opening of the company's latest leisure projects in Egypt.

This opening comes under the framework of the new expansion of the leisure projects outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and increasing the investment in the Leisure & Tourism industry to include many countries of the Arabian Region and the gulf.

Mr. Fahad Al-Othaim spoke about his company's expansion plan specifically, in the Egypt market referring to the attractive investment climate in Egypt and the feasibility of all the investment components, such as government facilitations, developed infrastructure and high population density.

Al-Othaim expects a bright future for the leisure &tourism industry in the Middle East, indicating that this sector has become most attractive for the local investments and the foreign investments as well. This investment is a driving force for the regional economies, which requires diversification of leisure and tourism products in this market.
