CAIRO - 4 July 2019: Iberia Airlines of Spain announced Thursday operating four direct flights between Madrid and Cairo as of March 2 in 2020.
In statements to MENA, Tourism Minister Rania el Mashaat welcomed the decision, saying that these flights will contribute to increasing the tourism coming to Egypt from Spain.
The minister said the operation of the flights coincides with the opening of the Great Egyptian Museum next year.
Meanwhile, the Financial Times, the biggest international economic newspaper, published a promotional article about tourism in Egypt, hailing the Nile voyages between Luxor and Aswan.
