CAIRO –10 June 2017: The activities of Layali Al-Hussein El-Ramadania, “Hussein nights in Ramadan,” were launched in the Child’s Garden in Banha on Thursday, Jun 8, to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan.
The festivities include popular arts, musical performances and children's games, in addition to a series of religious, cultural, social and literary activities. The festival brings together group of artists’ concerts, intellectuals, social workers and politicians.
Layali Al-Hussein El-Ramadania events are under the patronage of Qalyubia Governor Mahmoud Ashmawy and city Mayor Najwa Al-Esher. The events are expected to continue until Eid al-Fitr,the feast of breaking the fast. It is a major feast celebrated by Muslims all over the world every year directly after Ramadan. These festivities are part of the celebrations that are taking place in the cities of Cairo and Qalyubia during Ramadan. Every year Egyptians celebrate Ramadan in most of Egypt’s governorates and revive their customs and traditions.
