CAIRO - 26 April 2019: Egyptian- French singer and 2019 Miss Europe Nelly Atef visited Giza’s Pyramids to promote tourism to Egypt.
Revealing the reason behind her visit to the pyramids for a photoshoot, Atef told Egypt Today “I am so impressed with Egyptian women’s glory and their unique characters. Only Egyptian women enjoy peerless traits such as patience, willingness, insistence, strength, and acceptance.” She expressed her honor of sharing Egyptian origin, voicing her fondness of Queen Cleopatra.
The Pyramids reflect the majesty of the Egyptian monuments and the innovation of the Egyptian people and greatness of Egyptian civilization, she added.
Atef visited other archaeological places such as Khan el-Khalili downtown Cairo. She was keen to eat popular Egyptian food like Falafel and Kushari.
“Egypt is the cradle of culture and the origin of fashion, beauty and civilization. It is full of colorful and old prestigious buildings. Egypt is the land of safe and security; a feeling of home. I experienced mixed feelings of nostalgia, homesickness and inner peace,” told Egypt Today.
“I am preparing right now a patriotic Egyptian song and I hope it reflects my deep emotions and love for my homeland Egypt,” Atef stated.
Atef was born and raised in Paris. She studied Law and Languages at Sorbonne. She was awarded many prizes, prominently Oublie-moi- Award.
