Horse carts in Luxor - CC
CAIRO – 2 September 2018: Luxor Governorate will apply a new application titled “Call Horse Carts” in November, to encourage tourism in Luxor, Head of Luxor City Council Ayman El Sherif told Egypt Today Saturday.
He added that horse carts are the popular means of transportation in Luxor, which tourists love to experience during their visit to Luxor.
He also said that the government would discuss some solutions in cooperation with tourism companies to oblige owners of horse carts to comply with the rules of application.
The application will apply on 340 horse carts in Luxor governorate, and they will also stop at specific places. The ministry will provide diapers for the horses for free, Sherif said.
Sherif said that anyone who violates the system will hand over his/her cart to the
government, in addition to the horses that will be delivered to Brock Horse Hospital.
